Another product from the basemap.de product group has been online since August 1st, 2022.

The product basemap.de web raster hillshade Although it has a somewhat unwieldy name, it comes with several layers of information that are made available to users free of charge via WMS and WMTS services.

With basemap.de web raster hillshade A Germany-wide hillshade service is provided for subsequent use in specialist and special cards. The service contains oblique hillshade, a combined hillshade of oblique light and slope hillshade as well as an elevation layer representation based on the ATKIS-DGM5 of the state surveying administrations. The contents of basemap.de web raster hillshade are updated annually as new underlying data becomes available.
